I know I’m coming into this really late. But I feel I should explain La Befana a bit. La Befana in Italy is basically a female version of Santa Clause, except she is a good witch who visits children on the eve of Epiphany (January 6th) and leaves gifts for kids who have been good or coal for those who have been bad. Marionette’s grandmother is Italian , because she calls herself “Nonna” which is Italian for grandma. Hence, her akumatized version singing a song to the music “La Donna Immobile”. I’m Italian so I totally understood all the references, but I can see how those unfamiliar with the culture can miss it and feel confused.
