Well I still think White Diamond could be more of a mother than an older sister to the other Diamonds.
A theory I think would be cool if true is that, instead of the ships being part of a giant robot, that they become armor of sorts for the Diamonds while they’re fused. Instead of being the head, legs, feet, they’re gauntlets, leg armor, and a helmet. Would mean there’s no need for a weird torso-head or torso-legs, which is a plus.
Though it could also be that maybe White Diamond is a mythical figure in gem culture, and that’s why she’s never mentioned by anyone. There’s not a lot to support that but it’s an idea that would be interesting.
Love that armor theory. Makes sense to me with the fusion idea yeah and does solve the torso thing. And I like the idea of WD being more of a concept, I think the support is that she hasn’t been mentioned.
