Ok I was saving up all my feedbacks for one go…
The Steven/Garnet confrontation in Steven’s Dream was very effective.
On Delaney’s side that the Steven monologue in Light Distortion works.
Hoping that several mentions of Esteban signal a future trip to Aquamexico.
I believe Gems are capable of smelling, since the CGs complained about the scent in Amethyst’s room when they found that rotten burrito that one time.
I agree with Steve that the Diamonds were meant to be portrayed as a royal family of sorts, although I don’t put shipping out of the question.
And I agree with Thebes that terraforming requires using water to shape canyons and other geographic features to be more suitable for the construction of kindergartens and other gem structures.

Shout out to the 90s film “Hackers” and the Matt Damon classic “We Bought a Zoo”.
The most compelling theory I’ve heard about Lapis’ terraforming is an extension of Delaney’s guess of Erosion:
Lapis carve the Kindergarten canyons.
So the terraforming isn’t to support gem residence, but gem reproduction. They don’t seem to have many requirements for survival, but their reproductive cycle requires specific geological formations.
It is clear to me that Blue, Yellow, and Pink Diamond have a sisterly relationship. My question is what about White Diamond, is like an older sister or a mother, well I guess it doesn’t mater. An older sibling without parents has the same authority as a parent.
Blue and Yellow are on opposite sides of the old diamond insignia and have more or less the opposite methods of dealing with their grief.
Yellow buries her emotions and wants to eradicate all reminders of Pink. Meanwhile Blue wallows in her greif while studying herself in all of Pink’s things.
If the Diamonds were meant to be complementary of each other it really makes you wonder how much chaos Pink’s demise must have really caused beyond her just being one of their 4 supreme leaders.
The diamonds being complementary is a really interesting idea. I’m into it.
