I wonder had Super Watermelon Island ended differently and the Crystal Gems were able to poof and bubble Jasper, would they have giving Jasper up to the Rubies?

Another common episode for anime is the bathhouse episode.

Clarification: We did have a beach episode by my definition. The episode with the Pizza’s in season 1. We get all the CG’s in their cute beachwear. Pearl’s dress and Amethyst ponytail! Garnet’s skirt! I could never forget this episode for their outfits alone.
And Amethyst was the first person in show to call her Peri. She has like 6 different nicknames for her. It was in the barn arc somewhere.

Loved the review and I pretty much agree on everything except it being on par with the Korra finale. This episode was like x10 more gay imo and the ENTIRE episode was pretty much just them being suuuuper gay and in love and adorable with great nuggets of stuff for the other characters. Loved Bob soooo much. I like Lapis in this sort of environment the best, the small smile when she catches the ball and high fives Ruby and little things like that coupled with the overall exasperation she has for the whole thing is the best. It felt really organic and it was fun and I’m looking forward to more of this type of dynamic with the CGs. I love everything about this episode ^^ Thanks for the podcast!

I definitely forgot that episode (and still remember very little), so mad bad on that one! Ah, Amethyst calling her Peri, nice. I dunno, I mean this epi definitely had more gay, but the Korra finale had more important gay I guess? So I think they’re on similar levels.
