Glad you answered my question. If I can follow up with this hilarious thought, if Jasper ever comes around and befriends Steven, and grow fond of him enough, I think it would be funny if she saw Lars being rude to Steven and reacted violently. Of course Steven wouldn’t allow her to hurt him, but a little grab of the shirt and threaten him, that couldn’t do any harm.
It would make sense from Jasper’s prospective, back on Homworld someone was rude to Yellow Diamond, there would be consequences.

Ha, yeah that’d be pretty good. If Jasper warmed to Steven I could totally see her being like a pseudo-body guard for him and getting the wrong idea when people teasing him.
Hm, instead of seeing Jasper protect Steven–I would like to see her force Steven to toughen up. Steven has a war ahead of him, and Jasper has been commanding wars for too long to protect a little boy from bullies. I’d like to see her put on spectrum that’s opposite of Garnet’s stoic love and more of a “life is cruel and dangerous–time to grow up” sort of way.
