Haven’t commented for a long time – but my favorite Ghibli of them all. The first hour or so is perfect, the right slightly surreal touch to real life for an animated show. So beautiful. Anyway you failed to mention my second favorite part of the movie the closing credits!!! A slice of life day in a slice of life movie and its nice to see Sujimori and Misiko get together.
I actually did notice that on the rewatch too, a little disappointed in myself that we didnt bring that up heh
