I don’t think Pearl shattered Pink Diamond. It’s compelling in an of itself, but if this season is supposed to be a big murder mystery, it means Pearl would have to be withholding and subverting their efforts the whole time, which I think would become obvious and obnoxious and make for an unsatisfying payoff.
I think it’s going to involve White Diamond or at least one of the other Diamonds because that would be an excuse to have some of the episodes back on homeworld with Lars and the OC’s.
P.S. I’m bummed we haven’t heard from Justin yet. Since his Diamond ship Voltron theory is all but confirmed at this point.
