Actually, Cat Noir does say “My Lady” in the French dub, IN ENGLISH no less. In fact, he says it more often than he does in the English dub.
Ok but is it “m’lady” or “my lady”? This is a significant distinction. lol
My Lady. I personally don’t really see much of a difference between the two,but that’s my personal opinion XD.
Also, he says just as many puns in the French dub too. Evilize/De-Evilize was made up by the original French creator and the animation was made to match the English script, which was made around the same time as the French script, in the first place. So it wasn’t exactly something that was “added” by the dubbers (the show was dubbed by the Dubbing Brothers English studio).
Interesting, thx. I’ll do some research into the dub process for the show. (m’lady and evilize are annoying regardless but yeah)
