On re-using the babies plot, it actually works quite well in context, the Sith were stopped previously – now they can do it without hindrance so they do. The actual circumstances are different enough to work.
The storytelling is fairly average I agree.
On Ahsoka, I agree she’s not a character yet in this series, though she’s a great character. There are some hints coming out, winking to Ezra is nodding to her old cockiness and consensus seems to be she’s in denial that Anakin is Vader – in heart she knows it, she’s just not willing to accept it.
Enjoyed the podcast – even though the tone of voice is a bit “why am I talking about this”
Thanks for listening Peter and giving feedback! My tone is definitely unintentional, probably just a mix of tired and monotoness. Obviously I don’t think Rebels is the best show ever but I’m choosing to talk about it every week. Yeah Ashoka needs character work in this show although she’s been pretty awesome in fights. The Vader thing with her makes complete sense although I wonder if it takes away from that incredible moment in Siege of Lothal.
